Quickstep Forearm Travel Crutches

Quickstep adjustable forearm crutches have a handsome, gently curving design along with thoughtfully engineered function that won the GIO 2010 award in Europe for excellent industrial design. In my 50 years of crutch using I have seen many adjustable forearm crutches but none of them can compare to Quickstep. When I gave them a test drive, my immediate reaction was that they felt very sturdy, supportive and comfortable, like my custom crutches. I am very impressed. Beyond being a great walking crutch, the Quickstep is very portable and ideal for traveling because of their unique push button programmable adjustment system. They are very easy to set to your desired height. Once the initial size is set the memory system allows the crutch to extend or be compressed with the push of a button so they open to where you have set them. Quickstep telescopes down to 28”, so they can be carried easily in a suitcase, on a hand cycle, scooter or wheelchair. And, they can be stowed under your seat in an airplane, restaurant or theater.

The arm cuffs are made of durable Nylon. They are stiff in the rear where they cradle the forearm and provide great lateral support. The cuffs are front opening and hold the crutch onto the arm even when reaching. The top rims of the cuffs have a clever three point “kick-stand” molded in that enables each crutch to stand vertically when inverted and placed on the ground. Standing up, the Quickstep is easy to reach and less of a tripping hazard for others. This works either when the crutch is telescoped closed or when in full extension. We enhance the cuffs by installing Padded Leather Cuff Inserts that absorb both shock and perspiration. These Cuff Inserts are easily removed to provide extra cuff room for bulky winter coats. And, on the back of the cuff posts are highly reflective strips for safety at night.

The handgrips are ergonomically designed to fit your right and left hands individually giving you comfortable support.
