Tornado and Performance tips are hand-assembled in a 12-step process using the best quality natural rubber
with only 10% clay mixed in as versus 40-60% clay with other major brands. Encapsulated inside each tip is a
thick pad of Absorbalite shock absorbing gel polymer. Up to three times your body weight is cast upon your
shoulders with each step you take. This "crutch shock" not only tires you out day to day but over the
long-haul destroys cartilage, bone, tendons and nerves. Performance & Tornado tips help protect you from these
deleterious effects.
They also provide superior traction because the full bottom of these tips bend over and engage the ground,
even at very steep crutch angles. Performance tips with their 2-3/8" base diameter will usually out-wear
ordinary tips 3 to 5 times over. Tornado tips have a 2" base diameter and should last 2-3 times longer than
ordinary tips. In the long run they are very cost effective, especially when factoring in the protection they
give to your hands, wrists, arms and shoulders. I truly believe they will keep

1. A LARGE STEEL DISC
is chemically bonded with a two coat process to lock it in position and spread the load of
the crutch shaft evenly over the bottom of the tips resulting in improved traction. |

3. AN ABSORBALITE PAD dampens both
vertical and lateral crutch walking forces, reducing fatigue caused by repeated impact to
joints and muscles. |

4. THE THICK THREADPIECE
has narrow grooves to reduce the picking up of debris. Because it is a full 2 3/8" in diameter there
is more surface area to engage the ground for better traction and they sink less in soft
and sandy terrain and wear extremely well. |
