Over the years my customers have been kind enough to write and tell me how
much they like my Performance and Tornado crutch tip technology. In the
beginning when money was short, I was encouraged by these letters. They
confirmed what I already knew and gave me the "emotional income" to stay
with this business. I have collected nearly a hundred unsolicited
testimonials. Here are just a few:

President Clinton ripped the tendon in his right knee in a staircase tumble on March 14 of 1997. My friend and crutch customer Charlie Harles sent President Clinton a pair of my patented Performance gel-filled crutch tips. The President liked them so much he asked what other products I had. I sent him my “Whole Crutch Catalog.” The White House Medical Unit called and ordered a pair of Enabling Technology's Superlite crutches with my gel grips, tips and cuff inserts installed. I thanked them for the order and asked for a credit card…can't be too careful!
President Clinton took his Superlites around the world! When asked at a news conference about his dressy black crutches he replied;
“These are my 'Stealth' crutches…I think they were developed as an offshoot of B-2 technology…I like them quite a lot.”

Please tell Thomas that he needs to include a warning with his crutches.
I bought a pair of Superlights recently, after using adjustable crutches
for 2 years. My plan was to use the Superlights for work and save my
old crutches for rougher life. Take $400.00 crutches to the beach?
You have to be kidding!!
Well I tried my old crutches for the first time in 3 months. The noise
made me crazy, my hands hurt, the size was just wrong enough to make me
hunch like Quazimoto. You should have warned me that I couldn't go back again.

I received my new crutches (Litestix aluminum)in early November and have used them continuously since then. I am very happy with them. They make walking easier and less painful. The are much lighter than my old crutches so I do not tire as quickly.I now go for long walks with my dog. I was no able to do this in the past.

"I have had my current crutch tips (tornados) for 2.5 year - my all time record - "normal" ones usually last 3 months max. Tornado crutch tips are safer, kinder on the joints and they keep going, and going, and going... - what more could I ask for. As an AK amputee who uses crutches for all recreational activities and hiking, an active mom of 2 young kids and a physical therapist, I have had lots of opportunity to educate people about Fretterman crutches and crutch tips - those who have followed my advice, have all been very satisfied with your products.
